The biggest and most important change in all history

The biggest turning point in all human history was

when God arranged the birth of Jesus Christ in the

process of bring salvation to the world

This tells how Father God initiated His plan to save the people of the world from their sin.

The time had come! Jesus Christ was about to enter the world as a human being - His first coming to the world.

It had been planned from long ago. Isaiah in 732 B.C. foretold the coming of Jesus Christ (over seven centuries before His birth). These verses are just some of many scriptures foretelling the birth of Christ.

Isaiah 9:2 "The people who walked in darkness Have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, Upon them a light has shined.

And Isaiah 9:6 "For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."

This light was to be the Son of God, the child, Jesus Christ

Isaiah 9:6 "For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."

This child, this Son of God, was Jesus Christ

Luke 2:7 "And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn."

This first born Son, Mary's son, was Jesus Christ

Then, in the New Testament, the Apostle Paul explained God's timing of the birth of Christ.

Galatians 4:4 "But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons."

Then the Apostle John explains the nature of Jesus, here referred to as the Word.

John 1:14 "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth."

Then, in these next two verses, the Apostle Paul told us more of His character and His purposes.

Philippians 2:5-8 " Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross."

Roman 1:3 "....concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who was born of the seed of David according to the flesh, and declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead. Through Him we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith among all nations for His name, among whom you also are the called of Jesus Christ;

Romans 8:3 For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh,

Jesus Christ dwelt on earth from 4 B.C. to 29 A.D. He worked as a carpenter for 30 years before He began His work for His Father in heaven. He then selected His disciples, taught them for 3 years and died on the cross for sins He did not commit. However, all this was predetermined by God. Even Jesus knew what was going to happen. But He did it anyway, for without His death on the cross, our sins could not have been forgiven. Without His resurrection, it would not be possible for us to rise into newness of life by our confession of faith and live our life for God.

The disciples of Jesus continued His work and wrote some of the New Testament ,(although Paul wrote most of it later) Christianity spread like wildfire throughout the then known world.

His birth, death and resurrection altered the course of world history and the years to come will show just how much all of life revolves around Jesus Christ, especially when He comes for a second time to rule over earth.

We encourage each reader to look carefully at these things because taken together they are statements of fact concerning the future of every person alive on earth at this time.
