Don't know much about God and Bible?? This is to make it easier.

If you do not know much about what the Bible says

then read this.

This is about knowing the importance of knowing what the Bible says and learning to embrace its teachings.

The important thing here is the huge disadvantage of not knowing what exists in the Bible.

If you don't know much about what the Bible says, then you are not on your own. Over the last 50 years in particular, not as many people grew up in families that read the Bible regularly. As children of those families grew up they read the Bible less and less. Perhaps you are one of those who did not have the opportunity, because your parents did not read the Bible in their family - or go to church. However, it is a strange phenomenon that the Bible is still the world's best selling book. Chairman Mao's Little Red Book of 1964 is the nearest to the Bibles sales, but still far behind the Bible.

If you want to check this out for yourself go to:

However, if the Bible is still the world's best selling book then using the evidence of the world's continuing fall from grace and the problems in the world, surely it must sit on bookshelves or be read and not understood, or is considered too hard to follow and live by what God prescribed.

Certainly the Bible is a formidable book to understand. Some parts are even hard to read. However, we wish to recommend it to all readers of Soon! as even just the reading of the Bible, brings hope to the reader. Study of the Bible increases hope about life still further and enables one to see the wisdom and truth in its pages, eventually to have the reader love its words and embrace its teachings. If the reader advances to the stage where he or she sees the great advantage of seeking out someone to teach them, then the learner is assured of coming to know God through Jesus Christ.

What happens if you do not know what is told about in the Bible?

If you have never read the Bible, or taken any instruction in it, then you have separated yourself from God to the extent that you may not ever get to know Him through Jesus Christ. And that dear reader is the greatest disaster of all time because you are in effect ignoring the Creator of the universe and what He says about Himself and life, life for every person, especially those that are alive right now.

The reason why man has not known the Bible or does not think he needs to know, is that mankind supposes that he knows all he needs to know about life and that checking God out for what He knows will not help him much at all. Moreover, it's perhaps hard work to do so. So he does nothing, unless his life gets into deep trouble for one reason or another - and THEN, he wants to know something about God.

The issue really is a comparison of human wisdom with the wisdom of God. Not only is God creator and Sustainer of the world but He knows everything about everything. By comparison, man's wisdom is pitifully small. Consider these verses that compare God's wisdom with man's.

"Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world"?

"For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. .............Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men..........But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence. But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God......." (1Corinithians 1:20-31)

So, because the best of man's wisdom is inferior to God's wisdom, men need to know they will become wise if they consult God about how life should be lived. It is from the Bible that these things can be learned.

So, if you want to live life in the best possible way, then the reading and studying the Bible is a good place to start.
